CSS Collection 8: day 2

School is back in session!
I sent my son off to kindergarten yesterday, on the bus no less. It's amazing how much he's learned and grown in the last few years. I spent most of the day anticipating his story filled return. The bus ride, his classroom, teacher and classmates. We spent the whole night around the dinner table learning about his big day and laughing at the things he observed.

Anyway, on to more of the School Days Series

Today CSS is releasing every Rag Doll with either a pencil or a crayon. They are so darn cute. Do you have your favorites yet? Or do you have them all, like me! Even if I didn't draw them, I'd still want each and every one. They each have different sentiment and matching dies. Who could resist?

This is Rag Doll Jake Pen Pal on his way to listen, learn and grow at his first day of school.

First, the card.
I stamped the darling Rag Doll House School , bus and sentiment from Flashcards as backgrounds. Then used the insert die from mini tri-fold 2 and Notebook Edge Border die to make the mini notebook page. I totally dig the big word stamp SCHOOL and all the others like it. It has got to be that stitched line that matches the stitched lines in the Rag Dolls.  Love it!

Squeal! Check out that wavy banner.... To die for!
Speaking of die(s).... The banner dies in this collection are AWESOME!
You'll see more on them later this week.

How about that Rag Doll School House?!! I had so much fun drawing this school and arranging those rulers. And that beanstalk from Flashcards, with that sentiment..... How can you not love this set?

The school house is mounted on Party Favor 3. All of the Rag Doll Houses are designed to do this. We could make a small town with all of them now!
