CSS Release Review: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Clear & Simple Stamps Release in Review. I used several dies from this release, which is our designer challenge today.

First, I made a little scrapbook out of (2) 12" x 6" sheets of double-sided patterned paper by little yellow bicycle.  I folded them in half then punched two holes in the spine for twine to bind them together. I used the new BANNERS dies, as well as, the label die from MINI TRI-FOLD 1 and the big flower from the BUILD-A-FLOWER die set. I also used a variety of new stamp sets in the making of the cover. I'll point them out as we go.

This little handmade scrapbook if for my little baby girl Emma. I thought the fun sentiment HELLO WORLD was a perfect start in making this book. I found it in BABY SENTIMENTS.
I wanted a vintage feel so I added a script stamp {QUOTES II} where ever I could along with the dash line from CREATE-A-PLAID.

To make this pretty focal point I stamped the solid butterfly from TINY FASHIONS on a label and die cut a circle from the center. At first, I didn't know where I was going by doing that but I knew I wanted to use a metal frame (Stampin' Up!). Then I realized I used the exact circle die (SHAPES: CIRCLES COMBO) that coordinates with CIRCLES PLUS, so I stamped the heart circle image from that set and popped it right in the center. The little heart die cut came from the bottom right corner of the book. I die cut it with the heart die from this BUILD-A-CRITTER die set.
Also, I sprayed the metal frame with Glimmer Mist (limited edition candlelight) before hand. It just happens to match CSS Golden Tiara ink!!

I have recently discovered PINK thanks to having a baby girl (PAINT THE TOWN PINK to be exact). I just love it. Did I just say that about PINK?! Here I used the small tag from TAGS 1 and another circle from the new SHAPES: CIRCLES COMBO set. I stamped the circle with GINGHAM in that lovely pink and clustered the pieces together with a fun designer paper clip, button and twine.

I stamped the GINGHAM again on another label and attached it to the inside cover.
I found the perfect stamp set to help me keep a time line in my baby's little book. It's called ONESIE DECORATING. This is where I found the stamp 'newborn'.
 Onesie Decorating

I plan to use this stamp set throughout. I will be sure to share the inside once I'm finished!
And, one day, I will finally have my very own ONESIE DECORATING PARTY and you all will get to see the festivities!!
