Amber @ Damask Love challenged her readers to play along in her Do-Over Blog Hop.
The challenge is to go through your blog posts and find that project that left you thinking to yourself, "What was I thinking?!".
But first.... THE AFTER:
THE DO-OVER (aka: what was I thinking):
I think I was thinking color first then add designer paper. I think the colors here are so drab when all is said and done. What was I thinking?!
I decided I wanted a rainbow of colors. I like this version much better.
I used the same stamp sets as in the original. Craft Room and Crafty Sentiments! AND.... these stacked buckets are inspired by Virginia.
Now I can invite a crafty friend over and be proud of my colorful card.
Thanks Amber for the unique and inspiring challenge!!
Oh, Steph! I love your do-over! It's crisp, cheerful, clean and simple. You must be pleased. Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is FAB-U-LOUS! look at those stacked buckets and the bright colors against the white space :)
ReplyDeleteGreat do-over! The coloring is fab, and I love how you layered those sentiments!
ReplyDeletelove the CAS do-over!! fabulous coloring!!
ReplyDeleteCute idea! I definitely think the bright and cheery card is more "you". So happy to see you blogging away these days. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I love BOTH cards! But the do-over one is definitely a CAS above all cards. Thanks for giving me the credit about the stacked buckets! You just reminded me to get that set out to play again...I felt that it hasn't reached its full potential yet. Now THAT is a GREAT stamp design! So thank you, Stephanie!
