I used the Tuck & Close Bag #02 XL to make this sweet Easter treat bag. First, I stamped the entire bag with a music note background stamp then distressed the edges with a sponge. Then I stamped a butterfly from Baby Button Bits (PTI) in VersaMark. After I heat embossed the image with clear powder, I rubbed blue ink over the image with a paper towel. This technique is called Emboss Resist.
I adhered this adorable felt Rabbit #02 Large to the bag along with a brad, a button, a few bubble gems and some super cute trim.
I thought felt was the perfect material to have this shape cut from.
You can get it cut in many materials at Creative Cuts & More.
I'm so glad I stamped the inside of the bag.
Here's a sample of the bag as it is shipped... flat.
You only need one strip of Killer Red Tacky Tape for this bag because it closes at both the bottom and the top. How easy is that?!!
I had the Rabbit #02 Large cut from felt, as well as,
chipboard so I could layer them. Actually, I order more than one of each. I think I'll spray the next chipboard one with Glimmer Mist or cover it in adhesive and soak it in glitter. How cute would that be?? I can't wait.
Isn't this shape & material perfect for Easter???
Next stop, Chrissy!
